NAPLES — When the North Naples woman returned to her car, her iPhone was gone. She looked around, but just couldn’t find it. So she pulled out her iPad and activated the “Find My iPhone” tracking program. To her surprise, her phone was moving. She watched on a map as her iPhone headed west on Pine Ridge Road, then stopped at a Publix. She drove there, pulled in beside the targeted car and activated an alarm on her cellphone, confirming it was inside the other car. She got her iPhone back that day. My oldest son is getting ready to enter kindergarten in the 2012-2013 school year.  Admittedly, choosing a school for him has taken entirely too much of my time and energy - I've been obsessing over this for the last 2 years.  Last night, my family attended an open house for a new STEM school (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math).  The things these children will be doing on a regular basis is amazing - Podcasting reports, using Legos to learn Engineering, an e-Library, the list goes on and on.  But one thing the principal said last night really struck me - they are preparing these kids for the jobs of the future, jobs that don't even exist yet.  That got me thinking about my own career path, which is one I never saw coming. Read more
