Save 70% on your cell phone

Do you want to reduce your cell phone bill but still receive calls while traveling?

Last month, becoming increasingly frustrated by the spotty service and high bills, I was ready to cancel my Sprint cell phones.

I’ve been predicting for a couple of years that we will return to one mobile device rather than the various gadgets that most of us carry – well it’s no longer a prediction: the future is here!

I found the future, at the local phone store, in the form of the Samsung Tablet 3 with a 1GB data plan for $15 per month on a two years plan. It’s a bit bigger than my Galaxy III but not by much,

I had a hunch that a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Phone) might also work on the data plan. I logged my WIFI and tested Majicjack  - AMAZING! - as it was when I downloaded the 8x8 mobile app. From the Google Play store, just as clear as my land line.

And that’s not all; I disconnected the WIFI and tried the tablet on the Sprint data service, again clear as a bell, I continued testing with Voice activated Google Maps (Yes GPS works), set-up email accounts and installed the free Kindle reader.

After three weeks I’ve used only half of the GB provided by my plan. So with my recently acquired coffee cup tablet holder I have a sleek, easy to read communications center.

Next step is to forward my cell number to my 8x8 and my cell calls will route to either my desktop or mobile tablet!

My three devices plan costing $225 per month has been replaced by a five device (one cellphone and four tablets) plan for $115 per month.

All this with a Samsung 3 - 7” FREE tablet from Sprint for a two year, $15 per month plan or $49 per month if you’re not a Sprint customer with the same plan.

It doesn’t get any better than this - I’M LOVING IT.
